No time to Journal lately.
One of the great joys of my life is writing. I write in my personal journal almost every day. Sometimes it comes out like a drawing, sometimes a story, many times I just rant to myself in the pages of my book. When I am really lucky and left to my own devices with lots of time… out pops a song.
My public Journal has been empty as of late. And I apologize for that. The school year robbed me of “free time.” Then a couple of weeks of a much needed vacation took me off-line. I’ve been back for a couple of weeks, so what happened? A vacation does not mean that the work stops. I came home to a large pile of projects that really needed my attention. All good stuff, just way too much of it.
In the coming weeks I will try to play catch up with this Journal. I want you to know what I’ve been up to and what I have been thinking about. In the meantime, please know that I am preparing for the summer concert season and making sure that all of our concerts will be memorable.

TODAY I visited the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Senior Center to talk about Strokes and Stroke Survival. I also got to play my guitar and sing for them. Jameson Crumb, PA the Director of Services joined me to answer the medical questions. The dude is a genius. He really nailed every tough question that was thrown at me. He brought with him two wonderful stroke support professionals. More on them later. I am happy to do these presentations. I feel that we’re making a difference in the community.

Tomorrow I present my History of Rock “lecture” at the Sedgwick Tennis Club. I am looking forward to it. But I really got get to practicing, so I will curtail this little visit. Friday is the THB at Papermill Island. Can’t wait.
